About DB
Networking
DB Networking was formed by Dave
Baker in November of 1999 after six years in the
Information Technology industry. His years as a
field technician exposed him to many platforms/environments,
giving him wide-ranging experience.
Dave's career in IT began in 1993 fixing computers
for family and friends. After assisting with a few
rollouts of Windows NT 3.1/3.5, he moved into corporate
support, working on Help Desks and then as Network
Technician. Next, he became a Network Administrator,
managing multiple LAN's and WAN's for a network
integrator all over the Twin Cities area. Before
long, he was training new technicians and was assigned
as a Project Manager on key projects.
Since Windows NT was concept technology in 1993,
his experience vaulted him ahead of the rush getting
into the field. In 1995 he expanded his knowledge
by learning Web Design and developing web sites
for clients. After three years of development, Web
Hosting was added to the services offered to clients.
Currently we manage and/or administer multiple networks
in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota, but
also manage multiple dedicated servers for Web Hosting
based in Texas.
